About Us

Penny Creek Elementary School opened in 1998 along what was then a two-lane road across the street from a buffalo farm. The school has grown and changed along with its surrounding neighborhood. It is the district’s largest elementary school. Approximately 750 students attend kindergarten through fifth grade. Many classrooms have moveable walls so teachers can work collaboratively to help students meet high learning standards.

SCHOOL HOURS:

• Regular Hours: 9:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (First Bell Rings at 9.10am)
• Early Release: 1 p.m. dismissal
• Learning Improvement Friday: 2:15 p.m. dismissal
• Main Office Hours: Mon-Thur 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Fri 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
